few items in our house are so near and dear to us as our sofa. it has been host to us and our guests. it has provided us a safe comfort while watching horror movies. it has given rest to our tired legs and it has carried us off with sweet dreams several times.

however, times changes and we are looking for a change. new furniture ordered and living room given a face lift. so what about our old friend, we feel to bad just dumping it, good as it still is. we thought of selling it on our new marketplace, http://www.somewhereinads.net.

now, i am sorry to say that our own sofa is still too good to sell so this was just a small story about our friend. but what if i demonstrate step by step how the ad could be placed? i believe that most of you could easily sell stuff online, but that you may struggle to put up the first ad. this is how you do it:



1. go to http://www.somewhereinads.net and click login on top left.



2. log in with your blog username and password (do please email us at [email protected] should you face problems).



3. welcome to your own page on classifieds. here you can monitor messages and status of your ads or bookmarked items. you can watch items on your wish list, your own ads and requests.
however, we move straight back to the front page to start selling.



4. so you want to sell a sofa? anything about selling is on the right half of the page, more or less the right half of any page is about selling!



5. hmm, if someone else before me had added a sofa, the system would have suggested the right category, but in this case, it seems the system has no suggestions for us. we will try to find the right category to increase our chances for selling it. scroll down the list on the right and select the right category.



6. yapp, here we are. select this category and we have rightfully placed the sofa under furniture.





7. see, now i have filled in the proper fields for our sofa, i inserted a picture (using "browse" and select from files). so lets have a look at the preview before posting:



8. if everything is ok, then close preview and click on "post".





9. your sofa is posted, asking for a new home and a renewed life. it looks nice, right? soon it will also be advertised on the blog among the other recent items from somewhere in... ads





10. the sofa is also listed at the top of new items for sale on the front page of http://www.somewhereinads.net.


so, have you made up your mind of what to sell? it will be a good change for you as well as for the lucky buyer. don´t forget to log in and check for messages from interested buyers :-)
