কদিন পরে একটা জিনিস চোখে পড়লো, এবং দেখে একটা বড় খটকা লাগলো। যারা একটা সময় অন্ধকারের কীট ছিল তাদের এখানে পরম দাপট। একটা দুটো না, ডজন ডজন। সময়ের সাথে এসব সয়ে এলেও পরের দিকে শুরু হল নতুন উৎপাত। এসবের অনেক কিছুরই সমাধান করা যেত। কিন্তু কিছু মানুষ উদাসীন রইলেন। এই উদাসীনতা ছিল কীট দমনে, সেটা হোক মানুষ কীট কিংবা সফটওয়্যারের কীট। একটা পর্যায়ে তাই ভাবলাম ছেড়ে যাই, তারপরো আশা নিয়ে পার করলাম আরো কিছু মাস।

তারপর...?

এখন আরিলের পোস্ট দেখি নিয়মিত। বড় দেরী করে ফেলেছেন আরিল। ৬০০০ ছাগল নিয়ে বড় খোয়ার হয়, তাতে মাংস ও দুধের ঘাটতি মেটানো যেতে পারে, মনের খোরাক কি মিটবে?


লালনের গান আছে একটা, সময় গেলে সাধন হবে না। সময় চলে গেছে আরিল। সঙ্গীরাও গেছেন। এখন সাধন হবে কি?

I am a Pakistani and I believe that it's really easy to be judgmental about Matiur Rehman - he targeted a young pilot and took advantage of that pilot's inexperience and his own position as an instructor. Having said that who knows what Matiur Rehman must have gone through to take the drastic measures he took....All I can say is that perhaps both men have been rightly been honored.

কিন্তু বড় হওয়ার সাথে সাথে বুঝলাম বড় ভুল হয়ে যাচ্ছে। রবীন্দ্রনাথের গান শোনাটা "কুল কিড" হবার জন্য বড় ডিসকোয়ালিফিকেশন সেটা বুঝে গেলাম। রাজনৈতিকবোধ একটু পক্ক হবার পর দেখলাম কট্টর বামপন্থী আর কট্টর মৌলবাদী মুসলমানের চক্ষুশলূ এই বুড়ো। নব্য আঁতেলরাও (এদের কি পোমো বলে?) দেখি পারলে ভদ্রলোককে দুটো ল্যাং মেরে দেয় । গাড়িতে রবীন্দ্রসঙ্গীত বাজাতে বললেই মানুষ মুখ কালো করে, কিন্তু অল্টারনেটিভে কদাচিৎ আপত্তি থাকে কারও। এতো সব বিবেচনা করলে রবিঠাকুরের গান শোনাটা বস্তুত নিজের ইমেজের মাথায় কুড়োল চালানো।

তারপরেও শুনি, পরম আনন্দে শুনি, গভীর বিষাদে শুনি, দৃপ্ত অঙ্গীকারে শুনি, অন্তহীন ভালোবাসায় শুনি, মুগ্দ্ধ হয়ে, উদ্ভ্রান্ত হয়ে শুনি রবীন্দ্রনাথের গান।

সত্যজিৎ রায় কথা প্রসঙ্গগে বলেছিলেন, রবীন্দ্রনাথের সব সৃষ্টি লীন হলেও তার সঙ্গীত বহুদিন বেঁচে থাকবে। ডিজুস জেনারেশনে এই কথা কতোটা খাটে আমি জানি না, তবে আমি বেঁচে থাকি তোমার গানে হে স্বপনপারের কবি,
