Please find the process of purchasing train tikets from your mobile phone!



Steps of purchasing tickets:



1. Registration process à type TKET and send 1200

2. Reply SMS will send à 4 digits PIN & an account number like: 01711******7 (an extra 7 will be added after mobile number).

3. PIN change process à *777*4*OLDPIN*NEWPIN*NEWPIN# (or dial *777# and change it from the 4th option).

4. Then, you need to refill the new MobiCash account (01711******7 ) from mobicash/billpay retailer or customer service.

5. To purchase tickets à dial *131*3#





Please note:



- Although you are using our employee number (GP), you can avail this service from that.

- When you dial *777#, you will get four options: 1. BillPay 2. Flexiload 3. Account information & 4. Change PIN.

- In case of selecting a new pin, you have to select a four digit number that never starts with ‘0’, not a serial number like 1234 and you cannot select a digit twice. For example: 0192, 5678 and 1992 are wrong PINs; you can select a number like 1358, 2580 or 8937.

- If you register the service from your another pre-paid/post-paid number, you can use the remaining mobicash account balance to your telephony account by dialing *777*2#. After dialing *777*2# you will have to select the pre/post-paid option, then enter your PIN number, then amount.

- You can check your mobicash account balance by dialing *777*3*1*PIN#

- You can purchase tickets maximum 9 days before the journey date; that means today (06.11.10) you can purchase the tickets of 15.11.10!

- You have to write the first three characters of destination station. For example: in case of rajshahi you have to type RAJ, for sylhet SYL etc. in the menu.

- Bangladesh railway’s ticketing service is available from 06:00 AM to 11:00 PM only.



Here I’m describing the whole process of purchasing two adult tickets of PARABAT EXPRESS, SHOVAN Chair class from Dhaka Komlapur to Sylhet station for the date of 16.11.10



After dialing *131*3#, you will have to-



- Enter the pin number first

- Enter your journey date (please use date only; like 16)

- Select the start station by pressing 1

- Write SYL in search option

- Select 1 for Sylhet

- Select option 2 for PARABAT

- Select 1 for Shovan Chair

- Select 3 for two adult tickets

- Select 1 to confirm the inputs; the displayed amount will be deducted from your mobicash balance.



You will get a confirmation SMS (eTicket) on you mobile; Sample: “Tranx successful. Your eTicket No. F1Z92 for PARABAT_EXPRESS on 18-11-10 06:40, Seat KA 26. Trx id BR 10110515384358. Collect ticket before 18-11-10 05:40”. You can collect the physical ticket by showing the SMS at source station (at least one hour before journey time) or our own GPCs (at least six hours before journey time).
