সম্প্রতি World Language Organization একটি Survey করে। যেখানে British, American and Australian English language গবেষনা করে ৫০০ শব্দ বের করে যেগুলো সর্রাধিক ব্যবহিত হয়। এজ্ন্য তারা recent newspaper, magazine, tv show, novel-এ বেশী ব্যবহিত শব্দ সমুহ select করে।
