আজকে BMDC এর সাইটে ডুকেছিলাম প্রফেসর এর চাকুরির জন্য তাদের নির্ধারিত কোয়ালিফিকেশন জানার জন্য।
পাই নাই।
কিন্তু তাদের পাবলিশ করা ডাক্তাররদের জন্য Code of Medical Ethics পড়লাম।মজা পাইলাম পড়ে!!

তাদের ৮ নং সেকশনে বলা আছে:
"Canvassing and advertising for the purpose or obtaining patient and advancing the
professional interest of a Medical/ Dental practitioner, whether done directly or indirectly
through an agent, association or other persons and organizations is professional
misconduct and may make the Medical/ Dental Practitioner liable to disciplinary action."
কই?আমি তো আমার এলাকায় ডাক্তাররদের মাইকিং পর্যন্ত করতে দেখি!!
তাছাড়া রাস্তায় রাস্তায় তাদের সাইনবোর্ড ও আমরা সবাই দেখি!!
তারা বোধহয় এটা পড়ে দেখেননি!!


তাদের ৯ নং সেকশনে বলা আছে:

When announcing their appearance on the radio or the television on professional subjects,
Medical/ Dental practitioner shall not disclose their identity or allow it to be disclosed.
This restriction shall not apply to Medical/ Dental practitioner who are not actively
engaged in private practice or when appearing in a non-professional capacity.
Appearance on Television and Radio shall be limited to the purpose of health education
only.

টিভিতে আমরা দেখি অনেকে পাড়লে তাদের ফোন নং পর্যন্ত দিয়ে দিতে চান!!!
