চাকুরী পেতে অনেকেই আমরা “জব এ্যাপ্লিকেশান” লিখি । কেউ নিজে লিখি, কেউবা আবার প্রতিষ্ঠানের ছাপানো “ফরম” পুরন করি । সেখানে নিজের “সততা” ও “নিষ্ঠা” তুলে ধরতে কোশেশ কম করতে হয়না । এরকম “জব এ্যাপ্লিকেশান” পুরন করতে কেউই দুঃসাহসী হয়না, অকপট হয়না ।
এমনি চমৎকার একটি “এ্যাপ্লিকেশান” আপনাদের দেখাবো যা পড়লে আপনি বলবেন, “গাঁজাখোর, পাগল”। অথচ এ্যাপ্লিক্যান্টের চাকুরীটি হয়েছিলো অভাবিত ভাবেই ।
কারন চাকুরীপ্রার্থী আর চাকুরীদাতা উভয়েই বেশ রসিক ।
ঘটনাটি পৃথিবীখ্যাত সুপার চেইনষ্টোর “ওয়ালমার্ট” এর । একজন ৭৫ বছর বয়েসী “ওল্ড সিটিজেন” কেনেথ ওয়ে’র পাঠানো এই জব এ্যাপ্লিকেশানটি সাদরে গৃহিত হয়েছিলো ক্যালিফোর্নিয়ার “ওয়ালমার্ট” দপ্তরে ।চাকুরীটি হয়েছিলো প্রানরসে ভরপুর কেনেথ এর ।
(কেনেথ ওয়ে’র সেই অরিজিনাল “জব এ্যাপ্লিকেশান” টি সরাসরি তুলে দিতে পারলে ভালো হতো কিন্তু তা সম্ভব না হওয়াতে এভাবে দেয়া হলো যদিও এর ছবি দেয়ার চেষ্টা করেছি এই সাথে ।)
