আমরা ও আমাদের চারপাশে যারা আছেন তাঁদের মাঝে তিন ধরনের স্বভাবের মানুষ দেখতে পাওয়া যায়। তারা কেমন ও তাদের সাথে কেমন ভাবে চলতে হয় তা কিছুটা জানলেও নতুন করে শিখলাম আজ কিছুটা পুথিগত ভাবে। ইচ্ছে করল আপনাদের সাথে আমার শেখা ব্যাপারটা শেয়ার করি। হয়ত নিজেকে আর আপনার আশেপাশের মানুষদের নতুন করে জানতে সাহায্য করবে। জানবেন, কিভাবে তাদের সাথে আপনার রিএ্যক্ট করা উচিৎ এই কথাটিও। হয়ত আমার দৃস্টিভংগীর সাথে আপনারটি মিলতে নাও পারে তবু শেয়ার করলাম, কারো হয়তো চেনা লাগবে চরিত্র গুলো ও তার আচরন। । ইংরেজিতে লেখার জন্য দুঃখিত। ব্যাপারটি একজন ইংলিশ ভাষাভাষির লেখা, কথা গুলো বাংলায় সুন্দর করে অনুবাদ করবার মতন মেধা আমার নেই তাই হুবহু তুলে দিলাম, এর জন্য দুঃখিত আন্তরিক ভাবে।

মানুষ তিন ধরনের:
1. Wise
2. Fool
3. Evil

আসুন এবার এদের চিনে নেই। আর জানি এদের সাথে কি করে চলতে হবে।

1. Identifying the Wise person:
a. When the truth comes to them, they change
themselves to match reality.
b. They Thank you for giving them feedback.

Strategies to dealing with a Wise Person:
a. Talk to them.
b. Make sure they're a match for what you need.
c. Keep them challenged appropriately.


2. Identifying the Fool:
a. When the truth comes to them, they try to change the
truth instead of changing themselves.
b. They excuse, minimize or shoot the messenger.
c. They externalize the issue (i.e. : it's never their fault)
d. They get angry.
e. They have the meeting after meeting.

Strategies to dealing with a Fool:
a. Stop talking about the problem and start talking
about how talking doesn't work.
b. Tell them you are feeling hopeless.
c. Protect what you're leading by setting limits.
d. Ask them how to talk to them in a way that will make
a difference.
e. Ask them what should happen if they still
don't change.
f. Get specific about consequences.


3. Identifying the Evil Person:
a. When faced with the truth, they threaten destruction.
b. They want to inflict pain.

Strategies to dealing with a Evil Person:
a. Warn them twice and then have nothing to do with
them.
b. Involve external authority i.e. attorneys and the
police as appropriate.
