The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, has been following with concern the serious situation in Bangladesh which claimed dozens of lives and caused the destruction of public and private properties.

In trying to bring about satisfactory solutions to the country’s political and social issues, the Secretary General invited all parties to refrain from all acts of violence which go against the interests of the country, and called for the proper respect of the rule of law by all.

আল্লামা দেলাওয়ার হোসাইন সাঈদীর রায় বাতিলের দাবিতে গত কয়েক দিন ধরে শান্তিপূর্ণ বিােভকারীদের ওপর যেভাবে গুলি ও সহিংসতা চালনো হচ্ছে তা বন্ধ করে অচিরেই বিতর্কিত ট্রাইব্যুনাল বাতিলের দাবি জানান অর্গানাইজেশন অব ইসলামিক কনফারেন্সের (ওআইসি) মহাসচিব ড. একমেলুদ্দীন এহসানুগ্লু। গতকাল ওআইসি মহাসচিব এক বিবৃতিতে এ দাবি জানান।
