Brief look at the life of Shaykh Ali al-Kaurani
Shaykh Ali al-Kaurani al-Ameli is a well known scholar worldwide and specially in Arab countries.
He has studied in Lebanon, Najaf and Qum with expertise teachers like Sayyid Muhammad Saeed al-Hakeem, Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr, Sayyid Abul Qasim al-Khoui, etc…
Shaykh Kaurani was also nominated by Sayyid Mohsin al-Hakeem and then by Sayyid al-Khoui as their Wakeel in Kuwait.
Shaykh Kaurani is the founder of Ayatullah Gulpaygani’s centre and has cooperated to produce the very complete software named “al-Mo’jam al- Fiqhi” which contains more than 3000 volumes of book and is now updated with 4700 volumes called “al-Maktabat Ahlul Bait (as)”.
He has also founded the “Markaz al-Mustafa” which is now running under the supervision of Sayyid Sistani and has produced the software “al-Mo’jam al-Akaedi” containing more than 700 volumes of book.
Shaykh Kaurani is mainly specialized in history (Tareekh), theology (Akaed) and jurisprudence (Fiqh).
Shaykh Ali al-Kaurani is a famous writer and has written so far more than 50 volumes of books in different titles.
His most renowned books are:
- Al-Akaed al-Imamiyya (5 vol)
- Al-Intesaar (9 vol)
- Jawaahir al-Tareekh (5 vol)
- Mo’jam Ahadeeth al-Imam al-Mahdi (5 vol)
