গত কয়েক বছর আগেও এর এত নাম ডাক ছিলোনা কিন্তু হঠাৎ করেই যার কথা সবার মুখে মুখে তা হল বাংলাদেশের শেয়ার বাজার। বর্তমানে এমনও দেখা যাচ্ছে, যে Company মানে কি তা ও বলতে পারবে না কিন্তু দিব্যি শেয়ার Business করছে। আমার এই লেখাটা তাদের জন্য যারা Share Business করছেন বা করতে চান কিন্তু কিছু Terms এর অর্থ জানেন না। আশা করি Post টা ভালো লাগবে।
##What is share market?
Share market or stock market is a public market for the trading of company stock and derivatives at an agreed price; these are securities listed on a stock exchange.
There are two ways for investors to get shares from the primary and
secondary markets. In primary markets, securities are bought by way
of public issue directly from the company. In Secondary market share are traded between two investors.
##Authorized Capital:
The authorized capital of a company is the maximum amount of share capital that the company is authorized by its constitutional documents to issue to shareholders.
##Capital Reserves:
Undistributed Profit. after revaluation nd year closing company add undistributed income in reserve. good reserve show the depth of company. Normally company keep 30% profit in reserve but there is no such rule about it in DSE.
##EPS:
Earning per share. Basic theory to find eps is
Net profit after tax/total share = EPS
there is 2 types of EPS
Basic EPS - w/O considering recent declared Stock dividend or right
Diluted EPS - considering recent declared Stock dividend or right
##NAV:
which is the value of total assets less liabilities on the date of valuation. It represents the net worth of the company.
##P/E Ratio:
The P/E ratio (price-to-earnings ratio) of a stock is a measure of the price paid for a share relative to the annual net income or profit earned by the firm per share.It is a financial ratio used for valuation: a higher P/E ratio means that investors are paying more for each unit of net income, so the stock is more expensive compared to one with lower P/E ratio. The P/E ratio has units of years,which can be interpreted as "number of years of earnings to pay back purchase price.
