The Pilkhana Massacre is a devastating blow on our national integrity, unity and sovereignty. The loss at Pilkhana can neither be measured nor be compensated. There are controversies about how the crisis was addressed. As far I understand the killers traded time for talks. Banking on the inefficiency of the political leaders they continued to increase their demands. Talks and atrocities simultaneously went on. The inexperienced negotiators demanded the army and the people to go 2 km away from the area and ultimately let the killers escape.

The whole nation has equally mourned this loss. We have cried enough but the wounds in our heart has not healed. Now we should stand tall and try to do something so that the bereaved families get some consolations.

1. We must assist the authority (Govt and Military Both) in apprehending the killers.
2. We must not give shelter to any of these killers.
3. We must also inform the authority about the associates of the killers If we come to know
4. We must not laugh away any relevant information however smaller it is.
5. We must try all out to breach mistrust between the BDR and ARMY by motivating our relatives and acquaintance in the army and BDR.
6. We must help govt in unmasking the big guns behind the scene.
7. We must find out why a military problem was politically solved and why the whole process was politicized.
8. We must find out why media intensified the problem by unjustly supporting the demands of the killers.
9. We must dig out why the intellectuals like Nurul Kabir, Abed Khan, Muntasir Mamun and others supported the killers and did not condemn the killing till 27th where us the information of the killing was revealed on the very first day.
10. We must stand by the affected families both military and civil and help them make up some of their losses.
11. Our efforts must not be confined to blogs, seminars or rallies only.
12. The BDR must be re organized and revitalized for our border security.
13. The media must immediately stop earning cheap popularity by showing the relatives and friends of BDR who are crowding around the BDR gate for buying public sympathy, instead they should ask them whether their dear ones gave them any account of their indulgence in the atrocity. It is difficult to believe when their friends were doing all those ugly things they were just hibernating.
14. The media should also try to discover how these poorly paid (according to them) BDR people could afford to rent houses in and around PILKHANA and leave luxarius live , where as the army Jwans even after earnning UN money can not afford to do so.
