As we all know that there are four rivers around the 'Dhaka' city but the rivers are very near to about to die. Now the fact is that why the condition is so?


We saw and see that the usage of the rivers is very much high as there are so many big, medium, large and small industries and factories are stand along with the rivers. But these industries and factories become the cause of death for all the rivers as they are dumping there filthy waste materials directly to these four rivers and also to the water bodies that are connected with the rivers.


Not only that we are so much greedy to grab the lands beside the rivers and most of the time we build structures on the top of the rivers.Thus make the rivers to die or towards death. If this is so than one day we find that there is no water body like river around the 'Dhaka' city.


Mostly all the newspapers and also the electronic medias are saying the same thing. Its time to do but not to think. As the rivers are the only way for the drainage system of Dhaka city so it is our duty to save the rivers from extinction. Another thing is that now the WASA use the rivers as the only source of usable water body. If the process is running like the present then one day we find that there no water bodies as well as water.
