The comprehensive health care delivery to a vast number of diabetic all over the country is well recognized as a unique program of the Diabetic Association of Bangladesh (BADAS). The Government has already been constructed a multi-storey diabetic hospital different places of Bangladesh. The hospital is being constructed at a cost of Taka 13 crore for proving medical facilities to thousands of diabetic patients in the district with the best concern of government. The Ministry of Social Welfare and Lakkhipur Diabetic Samity are jointly financing the project. On the other hand the construction work of a multi-storied diabetic hospital at Parshuram in Feni to serve humanity in distress has already started.The Govt.has allotted 12.5 ‘shataks’ of land to build the hospital in Parshuram Upazila Sadar. Clinical Services Division of these hospital is responsible for the services provided to the in-patient & out-patient department both diabetic and non diabetic. The Clinical Services Division provides comprehensive diabetic care, to all the registered diabetic patients irrespective of economic and social status free of charge. Diabetic patients are entitled to free medical consultations on recommendation by the social welfare department.
