Almost 100 days over ,we had just suffered from a tragic status in the country, This is no more a BDR or ARMY issue, Now this is been focused as National issue. Therefore the prudent judgment and its implication are more important in regards to National Security.
I like to address this topic in three steps; in step one; I shall discuss the investigation and judgment. , in step two; I like to highlight its future implication (if this been again politicize,) and in third step I shall focus about its future effect in the Army as well as in our National security.

STEP ONE
The investigation need to highlight the following:
1. Statement of few high ranking ppl from Army and Govt , other wise the investigation can not make a fair end , b coz of some hard facts of last political move during early 25th morning and late 26th evening. So, I feel Home Minister SAHARA khatun, Jahangir kabir Nanok, Mirza AZAM, Defense advisor Major Gen (Retd.) Tarek Siddique, CAS Moin U Ahamed TANZIM Ahmed Taz , Later identified Sheik Selim, Fazle Noor Taposh Need to give statement to find the following answers:

A. What was the course of action by PM after she receives mob call from late Major Gen SHAHID Sakil AHAMED?
B. Who advised PM to go politically?
C. What was the advice from MOIN U AHAMED?
D. What was the advice from his defense advisor?
E. How and when NANOK and MIRZA Azam came in action so early in the morning while this BDR action was going on? THAT WAS NOT THE TIME WHEN MIRZA AZAM, and NANOK should be there with PM, it was so early in the morning. Then how they got connected with PM and got this assignment?????
F. What was the course of action by Moin U Ahmed after he receives call from DG BDR?
G. What was the advice by Moin u Ahamed to PM?
H. Why NANOK and Mirza Azam did not go to PILKHANA with SHARA Khatun and get the arms locked and bring back all the officers and their family?
I. Why PM cancelled her visit to PILKHANNA on 26th Feb. 2009? Who advised her not to go????
J. Why international air craft was delayed for two hours? Who all was the boarder?
K. Why Tanzim Ahamed TAZ did not informed about his arrival to embassy in U S A?
L. Can Tanzim Ahmed TAZ produce the medical papers in support of his treatments?
Do you think with out answer of above question an inquiry can be finished and that shall be accepted by the public? As these issues has came in to the mind of ppl? Do you think they will serve all the answer to the inquiry team? If they do not; then what you say about the investigation? I leave these points on to my readers.................

2. Few general questions are important for investigation Team to find out its Answer. else the inquiry shall remain doubtful to ppl These are as follows :
a. Who switched of the light?
b. Why Lt Col Shams appeared before the media after such a long time?
c. Where did LT Col Shams go immediately after he was realized from BDR?
d. Why the cordon of BDR was not in all around PILKHANNA? And why Hazari bag areas was kept un guarded?
e. Why Army was not allowed on night 26th to carry out search operation?
f. Who is Subider (Retd) Torab Ali? Who instructed him to bring out procession?
g. Lt Col Shams said in DARBAR Hall DG was attacked by SMG and Lt Col Quamruzzaman said DG was attacked by pistol and that pistol had only 5 rounds THAT are correct? WHY SUCH DISCRIMINATION IN THEIR STATEMENTS WITH MEDIA?
h. Who contacted with rebels after 25th evening and rebels refuse to drop weapons and at around 0300 hours AM on 26th FEB a massive fire took place in side BDR with out any provocation from out side and I doubt that’s the time maximum officers were killed and they cross the wall.
Readers, I do not like to go more on this, there are many questions in your mind too, but I just highlighted few important one and focus the issue about investigation to make politically clear the role of govt in connection of BDR massacre.

About the judgment and punishment, no doubt the Trial shall be under Army Act, and the punishment as per Army Act for 13 types of crime committed by BDR jawans, In no way in the name of general amnesty only a few shall get death sentence and a few get life time and thousands are free and returned to job

Remember in 1975 when Col Taher led a mutiny and saved the life of Ziaur Rahman, he was also hanged till death. In no way those have saved the life of officers shall not under go any investigation for other crime committed and set them free just b coz he saved an officer or officers family.
Lastly there should be another investigating team headed by a non political retd Supreme Court judge and members from all Major Political party and technocrat and some serving and retd Army officers to further investigate the report of these all investigation for a fair knowledge as its ppl demand about transparency.

STEP TWO
The above mentioned investigation and trial and punishment shall make ppl to believe about the role of Govt, if this is not done and if there is a complain by the ppl that this investigation and trial is not fare, then the Govt may be accused as master mind, and trying to hide the fact, which may lead a Political, Military and social unrest in the country and we lead to a civil war and ppl who plot this massacre shall succeed in coming days.

STEP THREE
To discuss about its future effect in Army and for the Nation,
1 Presently Bangladesh Army is passing its most difficult time in respect of its command effectiveness. Soldiers are not regimented they are more of democratic and some what demanding too. As a result command in army is seriously effecting in regards to its training and operational effectiveness.
2 These has happened after mutiny in 1975 where Late Ziaur Rahman signed some of their demands served by Col Taher and since then the officers are shaky in their command its effect also switched in BANGLADESH MILITARY ACADEMY too , as a result the who ranks and files are now enjoying some what democratic life being a regimented persons. To make readers clear what I mean democratic and regimental life..... here are some facts and figures:
a. Provide maximum family accommodation.
b. Less of fatigue in training and operations
c. Change of food habit, like issue of rice in lunch time. etc.

When you choose a regimental life in your job then democracy does not exist in army and it must be maintained in a regimental way, otherwise soldiers shall never fight a fears fighting battle, likely they will kill their officers and run away from battle fields.

Now after this BDR mutiny, if we again go back in the same ideology like in 1975 then I am afraid, may be the conspiracy which started in 1975 against Army is now drawn an end state and there by we will loose our combat efficiency and grow more of democratic privileges at the cost of our Training and operational efficiency.

Army officers are now in watch on the whole issue and they are expecting a right and constructive result from this Govt, if it turned in to politics and a blame gaming then, our national security shall be in deep problem, b coz the army officers annoyance shall not be stop rather it will provide fuel to their sentiment, and then nation is waiting to get a big trouble to day or tomorrow.
