A petal of Shapla 2010.
2010 is a good going year for us. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been awarded and firmly recognized for achieving the Millennium Development Goal and minimizing child death. Our medical scientists have reached to a remarkable milestone for Cholera and Tuberculosis. They have invented vaccine for Diarrhoea. Our agricultural scientists have invented the complete genome of Jute and draught friendly paddy. Our cricket tigers have beaten numerous countries. Many Bengal saints have received claps and thanks for doing good jobs around the globe. Dr. Shuvo Roy has invented artificial kidney. At 05:05:23:05:2010 Musa Ibrahim landed our flag on the Everest.
Now let’s face the dark sides. Our third class democracy is a matter of laugh among the international community. You and I have elected the worst corrupted and greediest culprits to rule us. Our Ma is still unable to birth a true state man who will be the role model for 160 millions and see the tomorrows. Police, justice and all other government institutions are shamelessly corrupted, slow like slugs and full of absolute chaos. More than half of the young stars are malnourished, unemployed and just one percent of the other half is entrepreneur. Our Climate change strategies are falling apart rather than defend the realities and adapt to its consequences. We import 70% of our daily foods, tools and technologies but export just few. We have failed to build up strong capitals, markets, social securities and confidence to investments.
Comparatively our economy is still a kitten but her growth is excellent. If you and I love a little more she will be an unbeatable tigress in next 20 years. We need more teachers, farmers, scientists, doctors, engineers, businessmen, and farsighted countrymen. We need stronger and bigger middle class patriots to move the society and culture. We need more universities, museums, playgrounds, clubs and strong Ma in each and every home. None of these is illusion; none of these is golden deer. We have 150 millions brains, 300 millions strong hands and long legs. You is the most important here, you must fight for your rights, for your happiness and for a better tomorrow. Just stay confident like tigers, use your brains, hands and legs for goodness shake. A flourished year, a petal of Shapla is knocking on your door. You, you and I together we must fight until our Ma smiles. Let’s celebrate the year of renaissance, renaissance of yours, mine; renaissance of mankind, renaissance of all the species of the Earth. Happy New Year.
