PROTIRODH is a Publication about Harassments of our daily life initiated by the 4 students of Dept. of Anthropology of Jahangirnagar University. We are more concern about how the term Harassment is being defined & used in the society. 'Cos the term Harassment is usually used through a very narrow & limited view, and there is a tendency of building up a certain perspective and sphere where women are emphasized and which established a discourse named Sexual Harassment towards Women and this discourse is used and misinterpreted intentionally. Because of this over-emphasizing on Sexual Harassment towards women, other harassments which are quite regular in our society are being over-looked and for this, not only women but also the whole society is facing unexpected anxiety. But the reality is not like that. In our everyday life we all face lots of defined and undefined harassments; sexual harassment is among the defined ones. More over, definitions of defined harassments are not beyond of doubt. So, we think we should break the narrowness & limitations about Harassment and build up a platform to think broadly and speak boldly. We think this will be an effective way of resisting all kind of Harassment.
