I was really devastated when I heard the news that 15 players of my country has chosen to join Indian Cricket League (ICL). They are – Habibul Bashar, Mohammad Rafiq, Aftab Ahmed, Shahriar Nafees, Farhad Reza, Tapash Baishya, Nazimuddin, Alok Kapali, Mosharraf Hussein, Hussein Rubel, Dhiman Ghosh, Mohammad Sharif, Golam Mabud Shishir, Mahbubul Karim Mithu.

I hope everyone knows that ICL is not recognized by ICC. Infect ICC has prohibited this league and each and every player is Banned from the national/domestic team if they are enlisted in ICL.

Mohammad Rafiq has retired from the national team. So it’s absolutely alright for him to play in ICL.

Habibul Bashar also didn’t do anything wrong by choosing ICL as BCB wasn’t showing proper respect to this great captain of the Tigers.

The chance of getting back in the national team for Tapash Baishya, Mosharraf Hussein and Mohammad Sharif is very slim. So I won’t blame them either.

But shame on Aftab Ahmed, Shahriar Nafees, Farhad Reza, Nazimuddin, Alok Kapali, Dhiman Ghosh. They just sold their country for money. Chhih!!!

I can’t believe that I put 4 for these dirty players in the sidebar with the Tigers.

Bangladesh Cricket is going through a really rough time. We need good players who can play great and love their country as well. They should learn that they represent a country. And to me the honour in that is much more valuable than earning a few extra taka.
