কি আর বলবো ভাই ! ২০১১ সাল থেকে বাংলালায়ন ব্যবহার করে আসছি । মাসের মধ্যে প্রায়ই ইন্টারনেট থাকে না । যেহেতু অন্য কোন ব্যবস্থা নাই তাই এক কথায় বাধ্য হয়েই ওদের ইন্টারনেই ব্যবহার করে আসছিলাম । এই মাসের ৫,৬ এবং আজ সকাল ১১টা থেকে সন্ধা ৭ টা ৩০ মিনিট পযন্ত ইন্টারনেট ছিল না । যাক কাজের কথায় আসিঃ-

গত মাসের ২১ তারিখ বাংলালয়ন থেকে একটা মেইল পাই । মেইলটা হলোঃ

As part of service improvement process we want to share our experience regarding Fair Usage Policy for King plan customer.
Fair Usage Policy (FUP) is a common worldwide practice among wireless internet service provider. Banglalion also applies FUP to all King/unlimited Plans’ user. There are two common types of FUP that Internet Service Provider applies:

Type 1-Apply FUP by monitoring usage on daily basis: cap (data limit) will be imposed on daily basis during peak hours only. If the usage exceeds the stipulated cap, then the download speed will be curtailed for some specific hours on that day. After that regular speed will be brought back for the rest of the day. In this policy customer has to monitor his usage daily to avoid speed reduction.
Type 2-Apply FUP by monitoring usage on monthly basis: here the cap (data limit) will be imposed on monthly basis. Therefore if the user exceeds his stipulated cap in the middle of the month, then the download speed will be curtailed for the rest of the month until new billing cycle starts. Once the new bill cycle starts, the regular speed will be brought back. In this policy customer has to monitor his total monthly usage to avoid speed reduction.
At present Banglalion is following Type 1 FUP for its customers. Please read present Banglalion Fair Usage Policy.
Based on our record we have noticed that you have been using internet fairly. Therefore we want a user friendly FUP policy that would justify your usage pattern. We believe Type 2 would be more comfortable for you as you don’t have to worry for monitoring about your usage every day.

আমি তখন TYPE-1 এ ভোট দিয়েছিলাম । শুধু আমি না আমি মনে সকল King User ই Type-1 এ ভোট দিয়েছেন । কেননা আমরা যারা King প্যাকেজ ব্যবহার করি তারা প্রায় সবাই কম বেশি ডাউনলোড করে থাকি ।

যাই হোক বাংলালয়ন তার FUP পলিসি পরিবর্তন করেছে । ওদের নতুন FUP পলিসি হলোঃ

Note:

Customer will remain using Internet at throttling speed till the end of current bill cycle.
Regular speed would be brought back once the new bill cycle starts.
For users suspected of VoIP or any other illegal online activity according to the laws of the land, BCL might be forced to suspend the service of those users and/ or possibly close those accounts.
Policy will remain affective for all the King plans unless specified.
Banglalion reserved the right to alter the FUP at their discretion.

এভাবে কোন নোটিশ ছাড়া ওরা যা ইচ্ছা তা চাইলেই করতে পারে না । ওরা FUP ব্যবস্থা পরিবর্তন করতেই পারে কিন্তু কোন নোটিশ ছাড়া এটা করতে পারে না । ওদের কমপক্ষে ১ মাস আগে এই ব্যাপারে ঘোষনা করা উচিত ছিল । কিন্তু ওরা এটা করেনি । তাই আসুন আমরা যারা বাংলালায়ন King User আছে সবাই মিলে ওদের CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER (01198989898) এ কল করি এবং জানতে চাই ওরা কেন কোন নোটিশ ছাড়া এভাবে FUP পলিসি পরিবর্তন করলো ?????? ভাই বাসা- বাড়ি পরিবর্তন করতে চাইলেও ১ মাস আগে বাড়িওয়ালা কে বলতে হয় । আর ওরা এভাবে ১ লক্ষ গ্রাহকের সাথে প্রতারনা করতে পারে না । আর ওরা প্রতারনা করতে চাইলেই আমরা কেন এটা মেনে নিব ??????? আর কিছু না করতে পারি কমপক্ষে সবাই একটা করে কল করে তো জানতে চাইতে পারি আমাদের সাথে এভাবে কেন প্রতারনা করা হচ্ছে ????? কেন বিনা নোটিশে FUP পলিসি পরিবর্তন করা হল ?????????
