No! I am not Prince Hamlet, nor was meant to be;
Am an attendant lord, one that will do
To swell a progress, start a scene or two,
Advise the prince; no doubt, an easy tool,
Deferential, glad to be of use,
Politic, cautious, and meticulous;
Full of high sentence, but a bit obtuse;
At times, indeed, almost ridiculous—
Almost, at times, the Fool.
-Eliot, The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock
You love to watch the night sky,
You always do, you enjoy the stars
You be amazed by the sparkling scars
You love to see them as a whole
The individuals never play a role
And I'm the gamma virginis in the corner
Among the set of stars that pass by
Couldn't find any reason of my existence
Till the night I saw you
Have been praising you as the goddess
Since then I've been loving you
I saw you and your friends,
They get along with you so easy
And you spread happiness, you stay so busy
Oh! what a beauty you posses
Every time, you leave me breathless
The creator blessed me that I never had a fall
To see you, I've been breaking the trends
Someday I might come down just to let you know
That someone is living to see you everyday
That someone watches when you sing, dance and play
Though these words have been said to you many times before
I won't just seat idle and watch, pray, explore...
And I know this might all go in vain
My every attempt will remain as a show
Thus my life cycle starts and ends as stars
And you remain the goddess of my dream
My surface become full of scars
I remain silent, years after years, with a desire to scream
