It is a matter of sorrow to inform all of you that Agriculturist Md. Mahbub Hasan (35) (Jewel), 7th batch of Hajee Danesh Science and Technology University, home district Sherpur is now suffering from Hypoxic brain injury and TB Meningo-encephalitis. Due to hypoxic brain injury, his brain nerve has been damaged and he is now physically and mentally disabled. He is now staying in CRP hospital at Mirpur 14, 4th floor room number 503 (please see the attached documents). He has completed his MS degree in Agril. Extension from Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU). He has a cute daughter (one and half years), parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
(Brief case study: Jewel was working in Tanjinia under BRAC international program. Although he has completed anti-Malaria vaccine at the very beginning of his program but he was attacked by Malaria fever two times and became very weak. BRAC management staff of the international program shifted him in a local hospital instead of central city Aga Khan Hospital (Aga Khan Hospital is only the quality hospital in that country). Due to lack of proper diagnostic facilities, the doctors applied wrong treatment. His family repeatedly tried to communicate with the concern people of the BRAC international program. But their response was not friendly. In this alarming situation, Jewel’s father sent his younger son to observe the practical situation. His (Jewel) younger brother found him in disable condition and returned him to Dhaka by the help of BRAC authority. According to the Bangladeshi doctor’s diagnosis and observation, his neuron system has been affected badly. Now the doctors are applying therapy 3 times in a day to improve his physical condition, and also treatment for brain TB that will take at least one year. According to the doctor’s advice, it is possible to recover from Hypoxic brain injury if his family tries in Singapore.)
