ব্রিটিশ হেভি মেটাল সিন এর পাশে জার্মান হেভি মেটাল সিন তুলনামুলক ভাবে ঝাপসা ছিল! কিন্তু তারপর ও হেভি মেটাল জগতে তাদের অবদান কিন্তু কম নয়! হেলোইন, গামা রে, সডোম, ক্রিয়েটর এর মত ব্যান্ড উঠে এসেছে জার্মানী থেকেই, এবং হেভি মেটাল কে তারা দিয়েছে অনেক!! হেভেন শ্যাল বার্ন আর রামস্টেইন কে চিনে না এমন মেটালহেড কি আছে??হায় হায়!!তাদের নাম তো বলাই হয়নি; স্করপিওন্স! এদের চিনার জন্য তো ‘ধাতব মস্তক’ হওয়ার কোন প্রয়োজন নাই, সংগীতপ্রেমী হলেই হল!স্করপিওন্স এর এমন অনেক গান আছে যেগুলো অনেক মেটাল বিদ্বেষী দের কাছেও জনপ্রিয়তা পেয়েছে! আরেকটা ব্যান্ডের নাম না বললেই নয়- ব্লাইন্ড গার্ডিয়ান! এদের নিয়েই আজকে হালকা চর্চা করব!

Hansi Kursch( (ভোকাল এবং বেইজ) এবং Andre Olbrich (লীড গিটার) ব্যান্ডের সাথে আছে শুরু থেকেই।Marcus Siepen ১৯৮৭ থেকে আছেন ব্যান্ডের সাথে রিদম গিটারিস্ট হিসেবে,আর ড্রামার Frederik একদমই নতুন!এই ফ্রেডেরিক আবার বাশীও বাজায়! ব্লাইণ্ড গার্ডিয়ান এর নাম টা প্রথমে ছিলো ‘লুসিফার্স হেরিটেজ’ , কিন্তু পাছে কেউ এদের আবার ‘সাটানিসম’ এর সাথে সম্বন্ধ খুজে পায় কিনা সে আশংকায় তারা নাম টা চেঞ্জ করে ফেলে! এছাড়া এ নামের সাথে ‘ব্ল্যাক মেটাল’ ফ্লেভার জড়িয়ে আছে যে!এদের গান গুলোতে আপনি খুজে পাবেন ‘ক্ল্যাসিকাল ফ্লেভার’,পাবেন অর্কেস্ট্রাল ধারার সুরের খোজ় আবার পাবেন রোমাঞ্চ জাগানিয়া ‘কোরাস’ এর সন্ধান !
