Eve teasing is a serious crisis that is increasing day by day. This is actually a disease that is spreading very quickly among the teenage boys. Eve teasing is a problem that is specially faced by young girls. Youths found roaming on the streets without any justified reason after sunset, gathering in front of educational institutions and coaching centres or gossiping at tea stalls. There are so many stories in our country where because of Eve teasing so many girls committed suicide, but there is no proper step taken by the authority to stop these stupid activities.
Sumi, daughter of a poor farmer Premananda Sarker of Nagar village, was a student of Ideal College at Jola union. A group of young men, led by Ripon Baroi and Ashok Bishwas, used to harass Sumi on way to her college. They went to her residence on April 20 and gave an offer of marriage. So, finding no other way Sumi had committed suicide at Agailjhara upazila in Barisal recently.

At least 30 people were injured in a clash between two groups of people at Ruposi village under Banchharampur upazila in Brahmanbariaon Tuesday. The clash erupted at about 11:00am when a group of people from neibouring Dhorikandi village attacked on the villagers of Ruposi following Monday’s quarrel over teasing some girls. Chase and counter chase between the two groups occurred during an hour-long clash, leaving 30 people injured.
So, because of eve teasing not only girls are facing problems but also society also facing many problems or clashes. Eve teasing is very irritating and to protect this type of work everybody should be very careful about this. The government and others should be very careful to stop this and to reduce suicide committed by girls. Eve teasing is also a very big reason to make clash or any type of turmoil between people. Because of eve teasing parents are not feeling free to send their children to schools or colleges. So, to reduce eve teasing everybody should be strict.(061011016)
