World Bank President highly appreciated Bangladesh's stunning development on socioeconomic front saying poverty reduction and women empowerment in the country particularly impressed him very much. Kim said Bangladesh's stunning achievements in poverty reduction and women empowerment were very impressive. The World Bank president said his organization would continue to work with Bangladesh and he planned to visit this South Asia nation next month. Elaborating her government's achievement in different sectors PM said the government is giving priority to energy sector and river dredging. Due to take various initiatives of the present government women's position to a higher level in all other sectors like administration, judiciary, education, armed forces and in law-enforcement agencies. Participation of the women in Bangladesh's politics increased to a great extent where twenty-one female members have been directly elected in present parliament.
