The Bird in the Cage

We all remember the famous and/or infamous Pakhi dress, that seemed to have driven quite a number of women of our country crazy and quite a number of families victimized. This is what we have leaned from Media. And what is the Pakhi dress? In reply, the Media reported it is the dress worn by the lead actress of the Indian Bangla channel Star Jalsha’s serial Bojhena She Bojhena, and her role name is Pakhi. However, I still have a confusion. There is another Pakhi, the role name of the Indian Hindi channel Life OK’s serial Tumhari Pakhi. This Pakhi is also the lead actress of the serial. In order to see how the so-called Pakhi dress looks like, I browsed the net, searched in the markets and examined the outfits of the two serial-actresses through televisions. I may be wrong, but what I have discovered that it refers to the variety of the gorgeous and silk salwar-suits of the Hindi serial Pakhi, not that of the simple and cotton ones of the Bangla serial Pakhi. I agree that craze for foreign products by neglecting our local ones is not expected, and women should not be too crazy about the Pakhi dress or other such types. But I just politely approach the media to verify which Pakhi is being indicated to and rectify the errors if it has made or I have.
