Sometimes we use to say that, we are the last lucky generation who born in the 1980s to 2000s. Because we are last generation who are close to nature and acquainted with the root. We used to get pleasure of small things, and we were naïve. Small things made us happy. Will we stop the talk saying that we are the last lucky generation? Will we say that the world is destroying and no hope for the next generation? No, we won’t. We have to work with the next generation and grab their psychology.

We who were born in the 1980s to 2000s are known as Generation Y or Gen Y. We are also known as millennials, is the fastest growing workforce in the corporate world. Our previous generation who are preceding us (millennials) and following baby boomers born early-to-mid 1960s to the early 1980s are known as Generation X or Gen X. Our next generation who were born in the mid -2000s is known as Generation Z or Gen Z.

We have a biased perception about Gen Z that they are more careless and don’t structurally think about their future. They more rely on technology then us. By 2020 40% of them will make up of all customers, 26% of those aged 16-19 will volunteer, 60% will try to find whether they are unique from others, 76% will be worried about the planet, 30% have already donated to an organization, 1 in 10 will want to start a charity, they will prefer mobile apps for giving. They are less money driven then us, they prefer face-to-face verbal communication, and they are more transparent and need frequent feedback. We have to give them space to understand them and we have to encourage them to do something new and have to help them to know their own and find their unique qualities.

Gen Z is the future of our world. The next world is waiting for them. So we have to give space for them and try to grab their psychology to work with them. We have to make hope for our next generation and make the world friendly for them. For grab their psychology we have to understand them and have to know what do they really want. If we understand their psychology it will be easy to work with them. And making the friendly environment for them is our duty and we have to make friend with them otherwise we won’t able to give the world a beautiful future.
