আপনি কখনও খেয়াল করেছেন --- একটু হাত কাটলেই আমরা উহ , আহ কতো কিছু করি , ওষুধ লাগাই , হাসপাতালে যাই --- তাই না । অথচ অন্যদিকে --- কি অবলীলায় আমরা ছাদের উপর থেকে শিশু ফেলে দিচ্ছি , মানুষ খুন করছি , নিরীহ মানুষের উপর অত্যাচার করছি --- আমাদের একটুও মায়া লাগে না --- তাই না --- দিন দিন আমরা মানুষ থেকে নর পিশাচ হয়ে যাচ্ছি । আমাদের তো লজ্জাও নাই । শিক্ষকদের আমরা লাঞ্ছিত করতে বিন্দু মাত্র সময় নেই না । অল্প বেতন পায় বলে অপমান করতেও দ্বিধা করি না । আমরা আমাদের একটু হীন স্বার্থের জন্য ছাত্র ছাত্রিদের ব্যাবহার করি । অবলীলায় তাদের রাজনীতিতে ঢুকিয়েছি । উপর থেকে নিচু স্তর পর্যন্ত আমরা দুর্নীতি গ্রস্থ হয়ে গেছি । বেহায়া হয়ে গেছি । আমরা মনে করি অপরাধ চোখ বন্ধ করে করেছি , কেউ দেখেনি , তাই আমি অপরাধী নই । মানুষ খুন করে বিরানি খাচ্ছি মজায় মজায় । অসহায় মানুষের টাকা মেরে বিদেশ যাচ্ছি , শপিং করছি , আর মুরগী চাবাচ্ছি । আচ্ছা সত্যি করে বলুন তো -- আপনি কি বাংলাদেশী ? জানোয়ার নন তো ? অথবা পিশাচ !!!
