I can’t remember when I first came to know about this day. But I still can remember, I raised a question within myself : should I show my love only one day in a year? I started thinking about this matter and got mixed answer. Somebody says at least one day we observe our love. Others see it as hypocrisy.
But my question, what about the other 364 days of the year?
Who is the beneficiary?
It is certainly a happy day for the businessmen. Lots of sell, lots of transaction. Businessmen are the real beneficiary from this type of days.
My Valentine’s day:
It was evening, I just came out of Hallmark, Sat Masjid road and saw 4 street children were eating some rice (there were only plain rice, nothing else!) on the footpath, in a polythene. I love children. To me, this world is beautiful only because children live here. When a baby smiles, it seems the whole world turns to a heaven. I was supposed to go to Boomers, anam rangs plaza to have my dinner with my valentine. But………I resist myself.
Have you ever thought?
One portion of this society are having their dinner in Boomers and another big portion can’t eat, or eat on the street whatever they get. Some are striving for food and some are enjoying valentine’s day. How cruel the Valentine’s day can be? Can’t we think out of our world? Why our world is becoming so little? Why everybody is becoming a dead fish by swimming with the stream? Why can’t we break the chain of the capitalist society?
I am happy
I am the happiest person today. I helped the children, made them smile. In fact I made myself smile. Sometimes being happy is really easy…………………………………
