একটা ইংরেজি কবিতা লিখলাম, তারপর সেটার অনুবাদও করে ফেললাম...কি যে হলো কে জানে?

Emptiness

You may have seen a long ago, you may have known for long,
How beautiful the sad sun sets, how close are right and wrong.
Me too, I have known all this, and I did never care,
'Coz life was not to win or lose, life was just to dare.
Life is full of love and hope; it needed space to grow,
But I was so afraid to lose that I did not let go.
The more I grabbed, the more I lost, as handful of sands,
All I’ve lost is my heart and I’m here with empty hands.
Now I stay at the end of day, with nothing, but am fine,
How could I not remember that, my love was never mine?

হয়তো দেখেছ সূর্য ডোবা করুণ লাগে,
হয়তো চিনেছ ভালো ও মন্দ অনেক আগে।
আমিও জেনেছি, করিনি তবুও পরোয়া বৃথা,
জীবন মানে হারজিৎ নয়, সাহসিকতা ।
ভালোবাসাও পেয়েছিলাম অনেক করে,
চেয়েছিলাম আটকে রাখতে মুঠোর জোরে।
মুঠো গলে উপচে পড়া জলের মতন,
ভালোবাসাও হারিয়ে গেছে কে জানে কখন?
দিনের শেষে শূন্য হাতে হাসছি ভেবে,
ভুলেই ছিলাম ভালোবাসা মোর, আমার কবে?
