Thanks to the Oil-Gas-Port preservation Committee for patriotic initiative for their recent activities against agreement signing with the USA company "conco-Philips" for the exploration operation in 10, 11 no block in the Bay of Bengal. As far I know from newspaper and various article that this agreement in against the interest of Bangladesh. By this agreement Bangladesh will nothing from that, just have to see it. That company will get 80%, only 20%!!!! Will get Bangladesh of total explored gas from those blocks. How funny the matter is?
After knowing this easy measurement, only few people is against this agreement signing. From the very beginning they are arguing against it, even they tortured at the time of their program surrounding relevant ministry. The Govt. tortured those patriotic people by police while peaceful agitation program. What is their sin? But we more than 16 crore people don't say anything. But why?? Very few writing about it in face book and other blogging site. Haven’t we anything to say or nothing to do? Petrobangla have to purchase per unit gas at 250 taka on the other hand if BAPEX explore gas then Petrobangla can get that same amount gas by only 25 taka. So isn't it best to give the scope to our own company BAPEX for those exploration activities? The patriot people should raise voice against that agreement.
