ফেসবুক এ নিরাপদ সড়ক এর দাবি তে যে কয়েকটি সক্রিয় গ্রুপ ছিল তার মধ্যে একটি ছিল "Nirapad Sarak Cahi" [http://www.facebook.com/groups/219914938061401/]. সর্বশেষ গননা অনুযায়ী গ্রুপ মেম্বার ছিল ২৮৭২ জন। আমরা গ্রুপ অ্যাডমিনরা জনাব ইলিয়াস কাঞ্চনকে এই আন্দোলন-এ তার দীর্ঘ অভিজ্ঞতা আমাদের সাথে শেয়ার করার এবং এই আন্দোলন-এ একাত্ততার জন্য আমন্ত্রণ জানাই। কিন্তু এর জবাবে আমারা যা পাই আমারে একি সাথে স্তম্ভিত এবং হতবাক ... আমাদের অ্যাডমিন ও জনাব ইলিয়াস কাঞ্চন এর কথোপকথন পুরোটাই এখানে তুলে ধরা হল...

এবং অতি দুঃখের সাথে জানাচ্ছি জনাব ইলিয়াস কাঞ্চন এর রিপোর্ট এর ভিত্তিতে "Nirapad Sarak Cahi" গ্রুপটি কে গতকাল ফেসবুক বন্ধ করেছে ।

আমরা এখন পর্যন্ত কোনো রকম প্রতিক্রিয়া প্রদর্শন করি নাই। কিন্তু এখন অন্যান্য একটিভ গ্রুপ গুলো এবং পরামর্শের স্বার্থে বিষয়টি সবার সামনে এনেছি ...

Thanks for your reply. I think there is some misunderstanding between you and me. I didn't created that Facebook group, I just joined there after watching their positive intention and people response to that group. As far as I know, there is someone who lost his brother in a road accident 13 years ago, and after 13th August 2011 accident, he and his friends created the group just to discuss issues related to road accidents. None of them were aware about your Facebook group and have no intention to do any harm.



I searched about your Facebook group and we felt interested to work with you. But now the problem is that if we delete the group, then we will loose the 2800+ people interested to support on this issue.



We were always trying to reach you before I discovered your Facebook group. I also talked with my colleague Prof. M. Zafar Iqbal (columnist, writer and teacher in SUST) about communicating with you and work together. We all want to give support. We would appreciate any other suggestions from you.

I have searched the admins of your group and found out that you are one of the admins along with Muzahid Islam, Dipu Hafizur Rahman, Tanvir M. Shuvo, even if you did not create the page you should be able to change the name of the group. Contact the other admins as soon as possible to take the necessary step. Thank you for responding again. Yes they made me and Tanvir M Shuvo admin because of our active participation there. You could verify this from the history of the group. It's Muzahid and Dipu who started the group. Dipu is the one who lost his brother 13 years ago in road accident.

Considering the group name issue:



1. It seems Facebook doesn't allow to change name of the group if it has more than 100 members,

2. The spelling of these 2 Facebook groups has different spelling already,

3. I'll talk with the creators of the group and try to find way to merge these 2 groups.



We really want to support the campaign of "Nirapod Sarak Chai" without raising any conflict.
